5K yellow gold is a gold alloy that contains roughly 20% pure gold. It has the look of 10K-14K gold at a fraction of the price. It is not plated, so the gold color will not wear off. However, unlike 14K gold, it will tarnish a bit over time. It can easily be polished with a polishing cloth. We offer 5K as an affordable gold colored alternative to 14K yellow gold.

Solid 14K gold is a better option if you plan to wear this ring every day for a long time. It is more durable than 5K and will not tarnish.

Contact us for special requests as this piece can be made in many more colors of 14K and 18K gold. Special sizing requests may require an additional fee. Quarter sizes are not returnable (see return policy).

All of our silver, yellow gold, and rose gold pieces are nickel free. Our standard 14K white gold contains nickel and is rhodium plated. We can leave un-plated by special request. Please contact us if you have questions about our metals or finishes. Nickle free white gold is available.
